Wyclef Jean Joining Jay-Z At Sunday's Concert
Monday Afternoon Concert Added Due To Overwhelming Demand
Tickets Must Be Picked Up At Obama's Campaign For Change Offices
MIAMI (CBS4) ― Due to overwhelming response, Grammy Award winning rapper Jay-Z has added a second free
concert in Miami to rally the vote for Senator Barack Obama.
Tickets for Sunday's concert were gone in just hours, which prompted Jay-Z to add an additional "Last Chance for Change" voter registration rally and concert for Monday, October 6th. It's also the deadline day to register to vote in Florida.
Multi-platinum recording artist Wyclef Jean will join Jay-Z at Sunday night's show, which begins at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets for Monday afternoon's concert will be available starting Saturday, Oct. 4th at noon at all Campaign for Change offices; limit two per person. Concert promoters say you must be at least 18-years old to attend the event. The concert begins at 12:30 p.m., doors open at 11:00 a.m.
Both concerts take place at Miami's Bayfront Park Amphitheater.
