There is something fundamentally confusing about the concept of grace. In the Old Testament, one of the underlining philosophies was a principle called retribution. It basically said if you do good, you reap good. If you do evil, you reap evil. I'm gonna compare the political situation in my District 2 and try to make some sense of a situation in my district that keeps getting worse and worse. In my district 2, we have a bunch of political insiders if you will, who works in the shadows usually working for themselves and the incumbent commissioner, this group of political pimps and madams, usually works behind the political scene making unholy deals and being the eyes and ears for whoever the incumbent Commissioner is at the present time. This group usually is the main benefactor's of the unholy deals going on. Example: rumor has it that ex manager Larry Deetjen helped set up one group or family members/Deetjen's black puppets to buy property. Rumor has it that Deetjen allegedly made a unholy deal to provide free water and sewer utilities installations/ connections to a local black Pastor who wanted to build a church. Are they bought and payed for self serving negros? I don't know. But evidence suggest some truth to these rumors, when Deetjen was suspended for making racially charged statements this group of blacks flooded Deerfield City Hall demanding Deetjen's immediate reinstatement. Let me get down to the hard point that I know will upset this group of political pimps and cronies across District 2. Does the words integrity & character mean anything in my district anymore? The people with integrity and character are scared to run for office. Why? In this black community all you have to do is threaten one of these so called community activist with losing their grant money and they will sacrifice their parents. Scary isn't it? In my community the choice is not to select the best qualified candidate with integrity and ethics. But to elect a candidate who will continue to funnel money to their charitable organizations. For those confused, GRANT MONEY $$$$!
Most of the people involved in this play or pay politics are self serving residents who care nothing about this city, only personal gains for themselves or family members. District 2 has really hit the bottom of the barrel when a politician can gain votes by leveraging the notion of losing grant money over someone/groups head to gain votes or support. Our City/world operates on the premise of retribution, or as i call it "ungrace" You do something bad, then I will treat you as you deserve. 2009 has come, I'm going to continue on my mission or destiny to inform the people of this community regardless of ramifications.
In regard to elections, Black people should not excuse or ignore criminal/ethical behavior because of race, or feel the least bit of obligation to support the actions of a criminal (or alleged one) just because of race.
This type of nonsense, this false Black pride, this misuse of our righteous cause to benefit individual politicians simply because they’re Black is why cities like Detroit are run into the ground, and Black people living in cities with large Black representations in government are often the Black folks worst off. Welcome again to the upside down world of District 2
