MESSAGE FROM THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD
Dear Community Members:
It's hard to believe that it's that time again! The Dr. Martin Luther King holiday and Black History Month 2010 are literally around the corner. Toward that end, I need your calendar of events so that I can pull together a countywide calendar and to avoid us from stepping on each other's toes. Please submit your events with contact information and costs if applicable asap.
The Miami Herald is putting together a special edition and is asking for story ideas as well as events. Let's make 2010 a successful year and start out with a unified calendar of events of which we can be supportive. Please feel free to share this email and get back asap!!
My deadline is December 15th. Anything past that date may not make the Herald's deadline.
