Through the SMART (Science, Math and Reading Tutoring) program, Miami-Dade Public Library is offering free homework assistance to students grades K-12. Experienced educators tutor every Saturday through May 15 in small group settings. Students must bring their assignment, text or workbooks, be able to work independently and follow directions. Most library branches offer SMART tutoring sessions at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and noon, but call to be sure sessions are offered at those times. For more information, visit Free SMART Tutoring.
