The book closes tomorrow, July 16, 2012 to register to vote in the upcoming Primary Election August 14, 2012. There are many important local and state races to be decided. Much of the energy surrounding voting this year has been centered on the Presidential Election in November. While the General Election is important, as are all opportunities to vote, the August 14 Primary is probably more important to us because of the local and state races that will be decided.
Here is information, verbatim, from the Miami-Dade County Elections website. If you need to register, print out the application and mail it so it is postmarked by July 16, 2012.
