Financial Tip of the Month: Check out free events in your area

by Lisa Rogers-Cherry

Ench Check out your local community calendar. There are often free events going on right in your area that you are probably not even aware of. Go to your local library, look in the community events section of the local newspaper, or stop by city hall and inquire about local upcoming events. Sometimes you can get free meals, free entertainment, and free stuff...especially if you have kids.

You never know, you might save some money, meet a neighbor and make a new friend in the process.
