After days on life support, Florida A&M University marching band director emeritus Dr. William P. Foster transitioned early this morning.

The FAMU family expected Doc to pull through this latest episode as word of his improvement circulated the Internet. Alas, this was not to be.

Of course we will post more on this tremendous loss in the near future. Rest in Peace, Dr. Foster.
