It is expected that City of Miami Police Chief Miguel Exposito will be suspended tomorrow morning by City Manager Johnny Martinez. The cause is rumored to be insubordination centered on the demotion of three police officers.

The beef between Chief Exposito and Mayor Tomas Regalado has the street committee predicting Commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones is the swing vote if Exposito is fired and the commission has to vote on his termination. With Exposito roundly criticized because of the number of black men shot and killed by police, it's rather hard to see Spence-Jones supporting him.

It's rumored the Chief has already filed for whistleblower protection so the saga can only get more interesting and/or circus- like. Stay tuned.
