On Saturday, November 3, 2012, the Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and their WISH Foundation presented their Emerald Gala and Silent Auction at the Hilton Downtown Miami. 

More than 600 were on hand for the festivities which also included a comedy show featuring Michael 'Tight Mike' Randolph; Kiana Dancie and Antoine Scott. Proceeds will benefit scholarships and educational programs offered by the sorority and the foundation. 

WPLG Channel 10's Constance Jones, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, served as host for the evening. Barbara Mason-Gardiner is foundation chair and Sandra L. Jackson is Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter president.
