Good evening, family! Oh, well, we are less than a day away from casting votes in Florida in the 2012 General Election. Most of the focus has been on the Presidential race and rightfully so. We will soon know our leader will be for the next four years --- President Barack Obama or Gov. Mitt Romney. Or perhaps we won't know. Depending on he margin of victory, there may be days of questioning and invalidating and nullifying some votes. You know a team of lawyers for the Republicans and the Democrats are ready to file suit.
The voting lines will likely be long in some precincts tomorrow but not as long as thet were during the early voting period. People stood in line for hours to vote. It was a sad, sad sight. The voter suppressive tactics of the Republicans in Florida, including our County mayor, serve only to mobilize and energize voters. Miami-Dade County clearly contributed to the state earning the Flori-duh crown.
You can't changed what has already happened but you can change the future. If you still need to vote, get out there and make it count. I will visit a few sites and snap some photos of a few of you, so pack your patience and your beautiful smile.
Get out and vote, family --- or shut up!
