Mayor Carlos Gimenez is holding the first of a series of town hall meetings on the 2013-14 Proposed County Budget. A couple of hot button issues are library closures and reducing fire rescue services.

The meeting room is packed. Not sure how many people are aware of how dire the situation is. The short time I've been standing out front, I found that many of the folks checking out items aren't even aware of the potential closures.

Let's pay attention to what's with this budget and politics in general.
