Winner of District 5 Commission to be decided tonight
Tuesday, November 19, 2013
We are hours away from determining who the next commissioner of City of Miami, District 5 will be. Conventional wisdom and momentum has the seat going to Attorney Keon Hardemon who garnered more than double his runoff opponent, Rev. Richard P. Dunn.
Weeks ago, Dunn was the expected victor by many. Then he was dogged by campaign operations errors including late filed reports and questionable expenses. When Hardemon earned the Miami Herald endorsement, that appeared to clearly position momentum in Hardemon's favor.
With less than an hour until the polls, we will soon know if conventional wisdom prevails.
