Jacque Reid to headline Deltas Founders Day Event

JACKIE REIDTelevision and Radio Personality, Jacque Reid will serve as guest speaker at the Founders Day Celebration Luncheon sponsored by Dade County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The event is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the JW Marriott (1109 Brickell Avenue, Miami) beginning at 11:30 A.M. –2:30 P.M. 

Journalist Jacque Reid has more than 15 years of broadcasting expertise in news, lifestyle and entertainment reporting and hosting.  She has interviewed  some of the most influential people of our generation, including Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and Hollywood A- listers Will Smith and Jamie Foxx.  Currently, Jacque can be seen daily as a co-host on NBC 4 New York’s much celebrated, celebrity and lifestyle show, New York Live, which features the best food and fashion in the city in addition to top celebrity guests.  She’s also a regular part of the nationally syndicated and hugely popular radio program, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, where she reports on women and women’s issues on her “Inside Her Story” segments.  Jacque believes in giving back, and is doing just that with her non-profit, “The Reid Group” which gives ten Clark Atlanta University journalism students the opportunity to spend the summer in New York City, working in select news intern-ships and attending workshops conducted by the nation’s top journalists.
