As expected, the Steve Harvey book signing event on Friday at Barnes & Noble in Aventura was packed. People from all ages were present with at least one copy of Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man in hand and there was definitely excitement in the air.

Hey, everybody. Here's the latest on the Steve Harvey book signing Friday at Barnes & Nobles at Loehmann's Plaza. Steve is scheduled to sign books between 6 PM and 8 PM. The line to see him will form at 4:30 PM outside the store.

Rigthfully so, a large crowd is expected. A wristband will be given to those with books to be signed and he will sign up to 3 books per person. There will be no holding of spaces for someone else so get there early.

All of my good friends know that I've been talking up Steve Harvey's new book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. That's why you find it a couple places on this blog's sidebar. Well, Steve (as if we're on first name basis) will be in town on April 10 at the Barnes & Noble in Loehmann's Plaza in Aventura.

Since I'll have the day off from work that day, I'll definitely be there. I'm just trying to figure how he's going to sign my Amazon Kindle. Oh, well, that's the least of my worries. I'm rounding up all of my sorority sisters, girlfriends, relatives, co-workers and a few women I don't even like to go with me to meet Steve Harvey and get him to autograph our books.

I've read the book once and re-read a few chapters more than once. I advise all of my female friends to buy this book; read it and buy a copy for another sister, especially the young ones.

Now, I've advised some of my friends, you know who you are, that this book is written pretty much like a conversation with Steve Harvey or at least what I think a conversation with him would be like. It's not high brow, or overflowing with big "A" words, it's real.

So, get your book and read it before you go. The book signing is scheduled to start at 6 pm. It's likely the lines will be extremely long. You know some women will be in line at noon. I won't be in line that early but I'll see you there. Say hello and perhaps you'll be included in our video experience of waiting in line for Steve. :)
